Kingsbury has a slate of six films in early pre-production, all of them based on her bestselling novels. Her new efforts are drawing interest from investors, producers, actors, and distributors across the theatrical and feature film landscape.

“Some authors would choose to continue writing two blockbuster books a year and call it good,” Kingsbury’s literary agent, Rick Christian, said. “Instead, Karen is just getting started. Her novels have often been called life-changing fiction™, and I believe that life-changing will apply to her productions as well.”
